Results Trofeul Total (Braşov) 2017

The Romanian Hillclimb Championship continued with the Trofeul Total this weekend. This hillclimb uses the Poiana Road in southern Braşov. Last year Bogdan Cuzma scored his first victory at this same hillclimb. This is one of his favourite hillclimbs as he proved again this year. Cuzma drove a perfect race and won the event with two nearly identical times. Lyuben Kamenov was the only one who could come close to Cuzma this weekend. Sadly the Bulgarian suffered technical problems in the final session of the day and had to retire. Paul Andronic moved up to second instead. Lucian Radut, who won the first round last month, was not as quick now. That is why he focused on scoring points for the championship. And with succes as his third place allowed him to remain in the championship lead.
