No problems for Francesc Munne at the Pujada Alcover. The Catalunyan champion won the first hillclimb of the season. He was more than two seconds faster than Albert Lopez and Ramon Plaus.
The past few years Gerard De La Casa was unbeatable in the touringcars. However that changed in Alcover. Joan Salvans debuted his new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup with a touringcar victory. He was less than a second quicker than De La Casa, but it was enough. Jordi Gaig and Luis Aguilera also debuted their new cars. They kept improving their times and in the end came very close to the leading duo. If the Pujada Alcover is anything to go by, the Catalunyan Hillclimb touringcar championship will be one of the closest in a long time.
