Results Glasbachrennen 2017

Christian Merli became the winner of the Glasbachrennen in Germany. The Osella FA30 pilot was the fastest in all three race session and also beat the trackrecord. His rival was Simone Faggioli was 2,7 seconds slower and second overall. The two Italians remain level in the championship. Vladimir Vitver remains third in the championship as the Czech driver won the Silhouettes another time.

Category 1 remains extremely close after Germany. Before the event “Tessitore” was the championship leader. However at the Glasbachrennen he finished only third in class behind Philippe Schmitter and Jan Milon. Lukas Vojacek won Group A for the fourth consecutive time. But for three of those four wins -including this weekend- he received just half points. Tomas Vavrinec became the winner in Group N, just in front of his compatriot Jaromir Maly.

The race weekend also counted towards the German Hillclimb Championship and the Berg-Cup. Uwe Lang was the fastest local driver overall while Björn Wiebe was the fastest driver in E1.
