Stefano Peroni was the winner of the third round of the Italian Historic Hillclimb Championship. The Cronoscalata Scarperia – Giogo was competed in difficult circumstances because of the cold and the fog. That did not stop Peroni from setting fastest time in the one and only race heat. Uberto Bonucci was second fastest and the winner of Group 4. Piero Lottini completed the podium, just in front of Giuliano Peroni. The older Peroni was also the winner of Group 5. Just behind Walter Marelli in fifth finished Giuliano Palmieri, the Group 2 winner. Tiberio Nocentini was once again the quickest in Group 1. Ther Chevron B19 pilot was also seventh overall. Just behind Roberto Turrizani in eigth, finished the best touringcar driver of Group 3. Gabriele Tramonti steered his Fiat Ritmo to a surprising class victory over the more powerful Porsches.
