Results Course de Côte de Hersin-Coupigny 2017

Today, May 1st, is a holiday in France. That is of course a good excuse to go hillclimb racing. In the northern tip of the hexagon the Course de Côte de Hersin-Coupigny was scheduled.

The last few years Bertrand Lassalle dominated the regional hillclimbs in this region. This year he switched his trusted Dallara F300 for a newer F307 model. So far he is still adapting to this new machine. Or maybe the opposition is just much better this season! In any case Lassalle finished third today. Winner in Hersin-Coupigny was Fabien Ponchant. It was his first overall victory, even though it was only his second course with his Dallara F302. Alban Lapotre made it an all Dallara F3 podium by finishing second.
