The Las Palmas Hillclimb Championship starts this weekend with the Subida a Juncalillo. Last year’s winner and defending champion Luis Felipe Monzon has entered in Juncalillo. Monzon is quite fond of the Juncalillo Hillclimb and its festivities celebrating motorsport history. That is why Juncalillo will be one of his rare starts in hillclimb racing this year. His main rival will be Julio Martinez who won here in 2016. The weather predictions are not that good, which could impact the competition.
