The Jochpassrennen was the German round of the European Hillclimb Championship in the 1980’s. In 1987 it also hosted a round of the Hillclimb Challenge, a sort of World Hillclimb Cup, which attracted drivers from as far away as the USA. In 1989 the last modern Jochpassrennen was competed. Since 1999 a historic regularity event takes place every october.
