The Subida a La Cabrera is the first round of the Comunidad Madrid Hillclimb Championship. A massive entry of 82 drivers is announced for this Sunday. Among them are no less than 12 prototypes. José Alonso won the championship at the very last race last year. He returns to defend his crown in 2018. Gabriel Gutierrez was a serious challenger for victories last season and will surely be a major factor in the title-race. Juan Antonio Castillo did not compete much last season. The Cantabrian won here in 2015 and could very well repeat this achievement in 2018.
In the touringcars Jesus Garcia starts another season with his trusted Porsche 997 GTR. His closest rivals will probably be his son Javier and Ismael Arquero.
