First competed in 1912 as a motorcycle hillclimb. First edition for cars was 1921. The final edition was in 1997.
Pre-war length of the track was just over 10 kilometres.
The startline displayed here was used in the final editions. I do not have the exact location of the finish line, but it ended close to the Santuario Oropa. The course here displayed is around 7,5 kilometres long. I would be very grateful for more and better information.
